Hi, I'm 40 years old and am not sexually active. I have a bartholin cyst at the perineal region. It doesn't give me any trouble though and I have had it examined by a gynec. The last two days the top of my clitoris feels very sensitive and swollen. It doesn't pain or itch. I gave urine tests the days back And all is negative for any infection. My blood tests are normal. My hba1c is 6. I would like to know why the sudden swelling and tingling feeling. My periods is due in another 4 days, I usually get it between 35 and 45 days. Is it a hormone thing? Also I feel heat generally around the area. I gave been taking sitz bath for the last few days. I finished a 7 day course of cifran 500 yesterday night. Please help.
