My father has been suffering from dysentery for more than 1 year. Sometimes it gets better, but mucus and loose stool keep coming back. Recently, he also had blood in stool. He took Ornidazole + Diloxanide + Simethicone and Vizylac for 5 days — blood stopped but mucus still continues. Now he is on Metrogyl 200 for 5 days.
