Chronic cough after Adenovirus
Background:
1.5-year-old baby got Adenovirus in UAE
Hospitalized and x-ray showed "Bronchitis" but doctor told no problem.
Discharged after 5 days with fever going up to 103-104
No fever after discharge, but developed a chronic cough
Previous situation:
7 days after discharge, the baby was taken to the doctor for the cough
Doctor prescribed prospane cough syrup and suggested giving sinecod syrup if it doesn't go away. Gave us confidence that don't worry.
Current situation:
Baby went swimming for 30 minutes at a resort 15 days after discharge, and the cough seems to have increased
Currently, the baby is taking sinecod syrup 10 drops 3 times a day, but the cough persists
