I stubbed my toe the other day, my nail is chipped. I think there is an abscess there. What should I do about this? Do I need to see a doctor?

hi nail will grow on its own but infection should be dealt first with antibiotics and dressings...so better you take advise from surgeon

Hi, yes definitely u have to meet a doctor because infection noticed at early stage can be treated with antibiotics alone whereas in delayed stages there will be need for opening off abcess and draining it .
