My 2.5 year old daughter is been I'll from past 3 months, she has continues cough and sneezing nose, and very week she gets fever which reaches 104deg easily, we have given her every kind of medicine and antibiotics but her body has developed resistance to all kinds of medicine.. She had a bad pneumonia at age of 9 months, She was injected with BCG vaccine at birth but she doesn't have a mark at arm or leg of that vaccine, reading the internet we found that if child doesn't have a BCG Mark at body the vaccine is not effective. Are these symptoms of TB. She was tested with TB test at 9 months, can we recheck this test.... Can u suggest that she needs revaccination...

Hello Some children doesn't have BCG mark but that doesn't mean your child is not vaccinated. Yes you can recheck or investigate for TB and any immunodeficiency for your kid. Meanwhile no need of repeat BCG vaccination now. Meet a pediatric pulmonologist near by who can examine and give you better treatment options. Thank you.
