Child gets drenched in sweat in sleep

My son (6 yrs) gets completely drenched in sweat as soon as he slips into deep sleep. This is prominent in his upper body, especially his head. He gets uncomfortable and we need to change his pillow side as it gets wet. This has been happening ever since his birth, we don't see anything unusual but just still sometime get worried if this is some symptom of an underlying problem. Kindly suggest.
