Chicken pox

I have 4 months old baby.       My house help's daughter had chicken pox ..She did not tell us .today she is saying that her daughter will " take bath".I don't what is it.. Now I am beyond scared .My baby has laryngomalacia and she was in NICU due to Bronchiolitis when she was ,1 months..what should I do now..? How dangerous it is?

Greetings it can be transmitted to the child in that scenario if the child well needs to start medicine. Don't worry it's not so serious

If the mother has had chickenpox infection or vaccine prior, she may have passed the antibodies to the baby , which protect until 4-6 months of age, so even if the infection happens it may take a milder course, advise to the visit the pediatrician at the 1st sign of infection for medication.
