It may be viral fever only. In viral fever, fever can come in every 6 hours and can be there for 3 days and in some cases till 5th or 7th day also. Measure the temp in armpit and if above 100F, then only consider it as fever. If the child is well in interfebrile period, taking liquids well, than can wait for 2 more days and then if fever persists than get a detail checkup, like for typhoid, dengue or urine infection. Encourage more liquids Paracetamol as an when required.
