1st..control blood sugar to the level of below 120 fasting and below170 ppt. 2nd..If possible get Oct done to evaluate macula 3rd...go for monofocal instead of multifocal,especially in diabetes. As I myself preferred monofocal. 4th..there is very limited or negligible role of laser,that too In hard cataracts.

Hello A. first of all,control blood sugar....don't proceed for surgery of this is high B. Make sure she doesn't has diabetic retinopathy.i personally avoid multifocal lenses in patients with diabetic retinopathy C. Cost vary from place to place ....it may be around 30k for indian multifocal to 60 k for imported multifocal
