Can overbite lead to a asymmetrical face

Hi, I've seen myself having asymmetrical face, my right profile has been bent towards left. Having a slight upper overbite teeth could be the reason for it? Or is it something else? I couldn't even smile in the public because of the inconsistent smile. I wanted to know if braces will get that fixed?
