I got a burn on my forehead due to accidental drops of dettol on it leaving a dark mark on it its not painfull or swollen just looks awful. I m getting treatment for pimples but this happened today and my doc is out if town so van u please suggest how much tym it will take to heal

Hi. Greetings. Don't ever use dettol on your face again in future. Just apply an ice pack or cold pack now. See your dermatologist at the earliest. The burn will slowly resolve. You may need short course of topical steroids under cover of oral antibiotics/ oral retinoids. Hope this helps. Warm regards Dr Govind Suresh Mittal. Bangalore
