Why did brown spotting happen again after 1 week? Both times lasting for about an hour. We took a pregnancy test after the first and it turned out negative. 19 days before the first spotting there was no penetration but only rubbing on the outside with maybe some pre-ejaculate. She has irregular periods and hasn't had them in 2 months so we are unsure when to expect it this time.
