Hello Mr Ravi I understand your concern but with out clinical examination and detailed history its hard to come to conclusions... Possible causes of his breathing problems are chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia, as well as other heart and lung problems...but above condition can be diagnosed with examination and investigations... If you had uploaded reports it would have been better to asses your father condition... I would suggest you to consult pulmonologist and discuss the in detail about the issue they will surely help you... For gastritis tell him to try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever he can...Avoid foods that irritate your stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee, tea etc... Stress may make his gastritis symptoms worse...Stress may be hard to avoid, but he can learn to cope with it. If you have trouble relaxing, consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..take over the counter medications with above..reduction of gastritis may reduce his breathing difficulties...and I wish him a speed recovery
Regards
