i got niple discharge before 3 months and after that i had done usg breast which comes normal.i want to do mammogram as it detect cancer. but my gynec refuse to do mammogram and telling if usg is normal then there is no cancer and nothing to do further. but i want to do mammogram for mental satisfaction so what can i do??
Usg and mammography .They have their own relevance
Usg is done before 40 yrs and mammography after 40years ...thats it
If you have a family history ,go for MRI
Do cytology of nipple discharge
N most importantly ,avoid self squeezing of nipple if at all you are doing it
And take good antibiotics ,it will settle otherwise
