Hello doc My son is 15 days old 6days after birth his billirubin level is 27 after phototherapy it reduced to 12.5 again after two days it increased to 16 after phototherapy it came to 10.8 after stopping treatment it again increased to 12.8 doc told to stop mother feeding what is breast milk jaundice how it is treated in how many days does it go plz explain

Just stop breastfeeding for few days n again restart, it will come down.....but other causes r ruled out or what???
