Brachial Plexus Injury

The patient had a fracture in the left upper arm bone (humerus). Before surgery, an MRI showed signs of nerve irritation or mild injury near the neck and shoulder area — especially affecting the C7 nerve root, which is part of the brachial plexus (a network of nerves that controls the arm). On July 1, 2025, the patient had surgery to fix the broken bone and repair the rotator cuff (a group of muscles and tendons that help lift and rotate the shoulder). The surgery went well, but 02 months passed, the patient: Cannot lift or move the shoulder or elbow Feels numbness in the upper arm Can move the wrist and fingers normally

Need a detailed history and physical examination. MRI report mentions changes suggestive of neurapraxia - this is a transient condition which will improve over a period of time. Also based on the examination, further tests like nerve conduction studies, Electromyography will be decided. Based on that we can understand the extent of nerve damage
Next Steps
I would advise to have a physical consultation with neurologist once
