Bloody stool from 2-3 day

My brother is experiencing Bloody stoll from last 2-3 days . He says there is no stomach ache . GP says he might be suffering form indigestion , Should we consult any expert? Expert in which field should we consult? Is this normal or could be serious. Please reply as soon as possible.

Hi there...I can understand your concern for your brothers. Your brother might be suffering from fissure in ano or haemorrhoids. He will need clinical examination to diagnose it. So kindly consult a general surgeon for further evaluation. Till then ask to eat foods rich in fibres like green leafy vegetables, raw fruits. Take plenty of water. He can do sitz bath at home.
