Your concern
1. Laser Haemorrhoidectomy last week
2. Lot of blood clots passed through anal
passage today
3. Is this normal? Doctor says it's nothing to
worry about
4. I want second opinion because this is very
unusual to me
5. I am still on antibiotics and Analgesics for
infection and pain
6. I have difficult sitting as it puts the pressure
on specific point
POST LASER HAEMORRHOIDECTOMY BLEEDING.
SOME CONSIDERATIONS...........
1. Normally the bleeding after laser
Haemorrhoidectomy is minimal or
negligible.
2. Post operative laser haemorrhoidectomy
bleeding maybe either early or delayed type.
a. Early bleeding may be due to uncontrolled
Vessels at surgery and starts within 48hours
b. Delayed type of bleeding may be due to
infection.
3. In rare cases there may be massive
uncontrolled hemorrhage.
4. Sometimes the collected blood may come
out at first bowel evacuation
