Blackouts for few seconds

Good evening all, My neice has been experiencing blackout for a sec or two once a while. It happens very randomly and happens even at sleep. She almost collapses for a second and then regains Control on body. She has no clue about when it would happen again. We are very concerned about this and would like some guidance on what type of specialist to visit. Is this a sign of a bigger issue in future?
