My father got black patch on his back and red patch on chest.he is not having any pain and not feeling itchy. could u tell me is this an allergy r a disease.pics attached.

Greetings. This looks like something that has been partially treatment modified. How did it start ? Had he applied anything over it for a few days. Does he have the habit of scratching it/ or any associated burning sensation. I guess he'll require adequate evaluation on examination probably with a small skin biopsy for diagnosis.
