Hi, im not sure if this is the right place to ask but im desperate for help. I have been on birth control for 2 months. I've been regularly taking it, but i had unprotected sex 2 days ago. The day before i had taken my pill on time, as well as the day of the sex, and the day after. However, i'm on a trip and have misplaced my pills. I have no access to my birthcontrol. What measures should i take? Am i safe?

This is dependent on which part of the menstrual cycle you are when you miss the pills. The sperm can survive in you for up to 5 days. The ovaries are blocked till 7 days,but  I would advise you to use a condom and check pregnant test urine if periods delayed. You might also bleed early if you break the cycle in the middle.
