My dad 54 is afraid that he will lose his value that so called 'worth'. What leads to such an insecurity? He is the second youngest of his 5 siblings, a girl after him. All his siblings are afraid of him except the eldest one . He tries to act superior to everyone who ever it might be. He looks after us very well..Never denies our wishes even now. He either shows superiority or inferiority. He is afraid that he gets blind in the love of his family and children..how to make him realise love

Hi, It is difficult to comment what is the cause of insecurity in your dad unless he is evaluated completely. I do not understand why his siblings have to be afraid of him. But anyways, you can consult Psychiatrist along with your dad for the same
