Is Barrette's screening necessary if patient diagnosed with GERD ? Seems to be costly to routinely monitor

Not necessary if symptoms are under control with prokinetic and PPI medicines. Persistent symptoms or recurring episodes may indicate acid reflux and Esophagoscopy will be required for screening yearly basis or as per need basis while having persistent reflux
Next Steps
Follow up with Gastroenterologist at least annually if asymptotic too
