Stomach dudenum and small gut are all ohk ...but I.c region. Appendix is visualised ,large in size. Barium residue shown within the appendicular cavity in 24hrs .film...suggest pathological appendix ...now tell me what to do ..a doctor told me for the operation ...where to go ..what to do ..plz help me out in this situation.

Normal appendix also will take barium contrast. That test was done 50 yrs. before when there were no availablity of CT SCAN. You can get a CT SCAN OF ABDOMEN WITH ORAL AND I.V CONTRAST and check for peri appendicular stranding . Correlate the present condition clinically and with lab values.
