Why there is a bad breath when we have cold or cough .how can we get rid of? If there is no cold cough i still hve that same pungent smell..i hve good oral hygiene

If there are no cough n cold like symptoms.Steam inhalation with menthol capsule and dilute betadine gargles thrice a day will be helpful.Do consult sooner or later to rule out sinusitis or GERD
