Can we provide SIMILAC  NEOSURE to born baby. If yes, what s max quantity recommended.. For 1 month old baby, how many times we can give the powder to the baby.

Breastfeeding is best source of all the nutrients needed for the baby. If for any reason, mother is unable to Breastfeed , Similac Neosure is recommended for babies who are born prematurely ( before completing 37 weeks of gestation) . As mentioned on pack, 30 ml clean water mixed with 1 scoop of powder ( measuring spoon will be given in pack). 6 scoops mix with 180 ml water. Feed frequently, 2nd hourly or early if baby demands
Health Tips
if mother is giving breastmilk along with Similac, make sure feed the baby from breast at first followed by prepared milk if baby is crying for more milk or crying excessively, using paladae or spoon or cup. Donot use artifical nipple of feeding bottle, as baby will adapt to feeding bottle and stop taking from mother directly ( nipple confusion)
