Budecort is steroid which should be used only after detailed history and consultation. It should not be used for just common cold. You can use Normal saline nasal drops if nasal congestion is there which also cause discomfort to baby.

For cold you can give syp maxtra 1 ml three times a day for 3 days. For cough- levolin plus 1.5 ml three times a day for 3 days.
