Please find the biopsy report attached Surgical Pathology Report FINAL PATHOLOGIC DIAGNOSIS SKIN, LOWER BACK, SHAVE BIOPSY -- LICHENOID DERMATITIS (SEE TEXT) CLAUDIA MARTINEZ HAYNES M.D. ** Report Electronically Signed by CMH ** Microscopic Description Sections demonstrate skin with hyperkeratotic orthokeratosis. The epidermis shows subtle areas of wedge-shaped hypergranulosis. Focally, necrotic keratinocytes or "colloid" bodies are noted, and a dense lichenoid infiltrate of lymphocytes with scattered melanophages partially obscures the dermal-epidermal junction. The histologic features represent a lichenoid dermatitis. The differential diagnosis includes lichen planus and a lichenoid drug eruption.
