Asthmatic problem

My father aged 64yrs has been suffering in asthma from last 9 month. He used medicine maxiflo 250 inhaler and montek ab tab according to doctors consultaion from last 9 month. When he stop medicine he feel slite difficulty in breathing, means whiste like sound cames. The problem comes in every 2-3yrs in dusty season.
