Hi my aunt is 67 year old and is going to undergo laminectomy for decompression. Since physiotherapy and other treatments did not work and the pain was persistent, doctor suggested to undergo surgery. She is a known case of hypertension and diabetes. how long will be the procedure and are there any complications associated?

Time taken for surgery depends from surgeon to surgeon. Risks depend on the level at which laminectomy needs to be done.
