Are cleft lips usually caught in 2d scan
Im 35 yrs old.I had my 20 week TIFFA ultrasound (2D) on 02.06.2018 n d sonographer said everything looked gud.
I don't know y im getting worried after d ultrasound,I started reading about cleft lips.Would the sonographer have caught a cleft lip in 2D scan or not?
My question is do sonographers look for this in 2D scan or shall I opt for 3D/4D scan again?
Are cleft lips usually caught in 2D ultrasounds?
If they didn't say anything should I feel pretty confident that no cleft lip was detected?
Dear , first thing dont worry
First stop reading the medical things on google ,if u have query directly u can contact or visit your treating doctor
Most important ,already scanning done means definitely it was advised by gynecologist ,so ,if any problem would have detected definitely your gynecologist would have asked for one more scan ,so if gynecologist not suggested anything then no need to worry ,
If any problem u ate getting fallow up with your treating doctor ,pregnancy is very sensitive and precious thing so should handle by one gynecologist only .
