Anxiety,movement disorder
Hello doc
My father is having functional movement disorder his left arm show some kind of abnormal movement and he is also have anxiety issue when anxiety happens lot of sweating happen and he became complete restless for around 20 to 25 minutes. Pls suggest what we will do?
Consult nearest neurophysician for clinical examination they will do the needful...Consult nearest psychiatrist as you require detalied counseling session and you may require medications such as SSRI or tricyclic antidepressants... With that fallow relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation,avoid alcohol, smoking, coffee, tea...have good sleep and develop healthy food habits..good luck.
