Anti-rabies vaccine
Hi. I was bitten by a cat and went to the ER on that same day. I was injected Indirab (day 0), and today's supposed to be my 2nd injection (day 3). Since anti-rabies vaccine is expensive, I went to our local health center and they said that they would repeat the whole cycle starting tomorrow, using a different brand of anti-rabies vaccine. My question is, will it be okay to repeat the cycle again, now using a different brand of anti-rabies vaccine? Thank you.
Kindly provide information about the dosage of Injection. Was it intramuscular indirab or intradermal 2 site.
The cycle need not be repeated. you can resume from second if the route of administration is same.
