Lupus patient since 19 hours. No organ involvement till now. On HCQ 200 once daily Routine tests like esr , crp, c3, c4, creating, ast alt all normal. No protein in urine. Results always normal but anti dsdna earlier was 263. Then  last three times it got reduced and became negative to even 30. More than 100 is shown as positive Now again it is positive, increased to 144 Then after three minutes again 192 All blood work normal and rheumatologist said as long as blood tests normal, HCQ is enough. I am just worried as ds dna high indicates disease activity right? Will i need steroids. Really worried. I will consult my rheumatologist soon but Hoping to get suggestions.
