Androgenetic Alopecia
I am Sagar Choudhary from Pune Maharashtra.My age is 28.I have Male Pattern Baldness Problem and Premature Graying Hair problem.My Beard hair and Chest Hair is also getting white since 2013.Sometimes I have Constipation problem also.
After Consulting Dermatologists and Cosmetologists in Pune,doctor prescribe me following medicnes for daily use for 2 Months.
1. TUGAIN 10%60ML SOLUTION(CIPLA) - Twice day.
2.TEXFIN OD, Finasteride 1 mg- 1 Tablet in the night after Dinner.
I just want to know that is there any side effect Texfin OD Tablet on my body and also Tugain Solution.
I have read some side effects of TEXFIN OD as below:-
Common side effects are:
erectile dysfunction (1.3-8.1%);
decrease libido (1.8-6.4%);
breast enlargement (0.5-1.8%);
ejaculation disorder (0.8-1.2%);
breast tenderness (0.4-0.7%); rash (0.5%).
On addition i have also buy Hairootz Softules Tablet Sample pack of 60 Tablet.
Is there any side effect if i take Dr. Reddy's Hairootz Softules Tablet daily in the mornin
Finasteride is an Oral antiandrogen and is specific treatment for androgenetic alopecia. Finasteride is safe and approved for androgenetic alopecia and there are no long term sexual side effects.
It may have transient side effects on libido and sexual drive in just 1-2% of individuals who take finasteride but these side effects are temporary and are usually not a problem with continued treatment.
Moreover these side effects are completely reversible on discontinuation of treatment.
TUGAIN AND MX SOLUTION are also essentially the same i.e minoxidil and it has no sexual side effects.
