Advanced kerotocaunus

I have advanced kerotocaunus and my cornea is really thin so doctors refused to go for c3r, plus Im unable to do my job and daily work as my eyes are not able to bear rgp lenses...I want to go for corneal transplant but I don't understand why some doctors strongly reccomend it and while some oppose it..... I have heard that it is fairly a safe procedure....plus my life has become hell...please help me....

definitely the results of prk are very  much encouraging in the  modern days and technology. but everybody  will  consider it as a last resort  .so don't get confused both schools of thought  are correct
