Hi. I am suffering from gastric and acid reflux. Today evening after having a laxative samfiber mixed with warm water for conspitation suddenly acid reflux from the laxative in the form of burping arised and cossed my throat and water came out from the nose. Only once . Is it normal and more serious thing that whether the acid rebound in this manner can d reach the brain and cause brain damage. I am very much worried.
