I got vaccinated 17 days after an dog bite...no wound was created...Like a tiny scratch..I get vaccine after 17 days and im not having any symptoms...Is it too late to get vaccine.. Will i develop rabies? I got previously vaccinated a year ago But now i started new course...Will the virus enter peripheral nerves.. Please tell me dear sir/Mam

If you have got complete vaccination previously then you need to get two doses of rabies vaccine on days 0 and 3 (if previous vaccination is more than 3 months ago)for category 2&3 bites where your skin have been breached.Else just wound treatment is sufficient.Yes 17days is late.

However if the dog has shown no signs of rabies you are safe.
