Can take up to 3 weeks , some turn negative in a week. Actually depends on when the prison gets infected, which one can't be sure of because different people have different symptoms , some are asymptomatic and incidentally diagnosed

Hi...according to the available literature it is usually active for 14 days!!! During these 14 days if you are in home isolation!! Confine yourself in a room with bathroom!! Wear mask when in contact with housemates!! Measure your temperature twice daily!! Drink plenty of water and take vitc and zinc supplements!! If possible keep a pulse oximeter and measure your baseline spo2 levels!!
Next Steps
if symptoms exacerbate or if breathlessness occurs...admit yourself in the nearest hospital.

Usually it takes around 14days..but there are many ppl who tested positive even after 25days..but the usual recommended period of 14days is due to the possibility that the risk of transmitting the infection to others become almost neglible ,from the recent literature and thats y 14days isolation recommended
