Abnormal vaginal discharge

I am having dark brown red vaginal discharge with a bad odour. It looks like clogged blood which is sticky and it started last year .before it was like 3 or 4 days before my periods but now it's like the whole month I am having this discharge. My periods is not regular. I have been diagnosed with an endometrial polyp last year. Is this anything related to cancer or because of the polyp itself

It's usually due to polyp..why aren't u getting treated/surgery done for d polyp if it's causing menstrual disturbance.. U can also send it for biopsy to see if there is any cancer in it..though unlikely..
