Abdominal pain

My son who is 5.3year old and weight is 19kgs.He has a history of constipation when he was 3 years and it reduced and recently he again had constipation and it is resolved now. But from many months he was saying abdominal pain which is usually reduces in 1 min, but it is recurrent ( may be he says 2 to 3 times in day).We have shown this to pediatrician, he said it is age related problem and will abdominal pain reduce once he grow up. He complain abdominal pain, sometimes after eating food or before passing stool. And sometimes he passes stool once in 2 days and sometimes he passes 3 times a day. I am not understanding the problem. Can someone please help me on this.

Can be because of parasitic infection. Give him syrup Albendazole 400 mg 10 ml  one single dose at night just one's.
