6 weeks old Baby is not passing stool
Hi i am using nan pro 1, twice a day for my baby since birth as addition to breastfeed. For last 1 week we put extra water 50ml against 3 scoop of nan pro 1 powder, considering he vomitted few times his bottled milk. He didn't poop for 5 days then used glycerine suppository, then he pooped. But now he again not pasaing stool for 2 days. Pls suggest
Baby sometimes pass motions after few days it could be normal for that child, provided child is fine,no issues with feeding,no tummy discomfort etc. No need to treat every time. Just see you have done thyroid hormone levels of your child at birth to rule out hypothyroidism. Never add additional water or powder in formula it could be dangerous and can have many problems. Ratio is mentioned in powder formula has to be strictly follow ed
