Hi Doctors, My pediatrician advised paracetamol on SOS basis. I have given 5 doses of paracetamol (1ml) to my 10 months old baby within 24 hrs. First dose 4:30 AM, Second dose 11 AM(after 6 hrs) Third dose 2:40 PM( within 4 hrs but 4 hrs about to complete), as fever reached to 103.8 Fourth dose 7 PM(after 4 hrs), Fifth dose 3:00 AM(1.5 hrs before 24 hrs period completion) as again fever was very high) During all the doses , fever was high. I am worried that I may not have given overdose of paracetamol to my baby. Each ml contains paracetamol IP 100 mg Please advise.
