This defines my good experience of having done Lasik eye surgery at Medicare Eye hospital and Laser Vision Centre, TTK Road @ Chennai with Dr. Atheeshwar Das. He is very warm, communicative, and carefully led us through the entire procedure which made me feel very comfortable and helped me to make an informed decision. The pre and post eye and health tests were conducted in a hygienically well-equipped lab with the latest technology.

Even within a few hours of the Lasik treatment, I had better vision than with my old glasses. By evening, the vision had improved and the next morning I fully enjoyed the most amazing vision ever.

Post-surgery, I am doing great. It’s amazing to see clearly without spectacles. My customized Lasik surgery experience was a very pleasant and positive experience. Right from the time, I went for the check-up to the after recovery was a very comfortable journey. The doctor took personal care and tried to find out the root cause of the problem by conducting various tests . Even though the problem existed for nearly one and half years, none of the leading hospitals in India where treatment was undertaken earlier could find the root cause.

However I feel the charges for administering the injection is considered very high (Rs 2500.00 + Rs 9000.00) apart from other consumables and actual medicine charges. This is felt a bit too high in comparison. This could have been well explained before hand. In fact the details about the charges was known only after paying the money in full.
