Ramaiah Medical and Teaching Hospital, is presently involved in comprehensive management of cardiac patients which includes Coronary Interventions, patients with heart rhythm disorders, specially responsible for electrophysiology lab and also heart failure patients including pacing systems, ICD and biventricular pacemaker implantation. He is the first in India to perform catheter based ablation for Atrial Fibrillation in the year 1999 and has till now performed about 4500 ablations as primary operator for various arrhythmias including AVNRT , WPW and other accessory path, atrial and ventricular tachycardia (Ischemic & Non-Ischemic), Atrial Flutter and Pulmonary vein ablation for paroxysmal AF. He has been a regular invited faculty to various international cardiac electrophysiology and pacing conferences – Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society, Venice Heart Rhythm Society as also all the national cardiology conferences.
