Dr. Arvind was born and raised in Muscat, The Sultanate of Oman after which he moved to Mangalore where he completed his undergraduate and postgraduate programs from the renowned A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences. He has also completed a year-long course in Oral Implantology from the same institution in association with the Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany.
Dr. Arvind believes that with the increase in awareness of the importance of a healthy dentition and the predictable nature of rehabilitation of missing teeth using dental implants, the responsibilities of the periodontist have increased manifold.
