There’s a fracture of the lower end of the radius bone. It’s quite close to the wrist joint but is undisplaced meaning the bone pieces are not separated. Get it evaluated by an Orthopaedic surgeon to determine need for surgery. This fracture usually unites consistently but because it is very close to the wrist joint is it better to have it assessed.
Next Steps
Consult Orthopaedic surgeon
Health Tips
Local ice pack, oral medication to control pain. The doctor will start additional medication for swelling.
