Dizziness and confusion
Hi, I was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression 1 month ago. I had sleeping issues as well. I am feeling dizziness and confusion in the morning after starting medication. I am unable to concentrate on my daily work. Please tell me if this is a common side effect of medication. I want to get back to normal life. Please Help.

Some anti depressants might have slight sedating side effect that might persist the next day leading to cognitive blunting - inability to focus on the work at hand Cannot be said for sure as you haven’t mentioned the name of the medication Also important in the timing of med taken at night - make sure you take it around 8.30 to 9 pm post meal with adequate hydration
Next Steps
If the problem persists kindly review back with your treating psychiatrist for change in treatment
