He spent the formative years of his career in Zambia and Zimbabwe; and, was instrumental in establishing the dermatology department at the Lusaka University Hospital. He has spoken on these topics at a number of international meetings and conferences as an invited/guest speaker. He has also served as a referee for a number of international dermatology journals.
