From 1989 till 1996, was an assistant to Padmashree Dr. Daljit Singh, an eminent Ophthalmologist with a world record in number of cataract surgeries with I.O.Ls.

In 1995, went to Calgary, Canada and took a special training in Phaco-emulsification and radial keratotomy ,& LASIK at the hands of Dr. Howard Gimbel a Pioneer in these techniques, for a month.
She has also done Fellowship in Phaco at LVPEI,Hyderabad in 1996
She is one of the pioneers in phaco technique in South Gujarat.
She is also attached to Daman Government Hospital as a Senior Ophthalmologist since 1998. Here in Daman she started the department from zero. Now seeing on an average 60 patients daily & 350 cataract operations annually .
Worked on short term basis as consultant at Ministry of Health Hospital at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2000
